All students enrolled in classes, regardless of status, are required to attend all scheduled classes.  If a class is missed, it is the student's responsibility to make up any assigned work to the course instructor's satisfaction.  The extent of work to be made up will be determined by the individual instructor.  A student missing ten percent of the semester class hours will be reported to the Vice-President of Academic Affairs by the course instructor.  Any student absent for more than twenty percent of the scheduled class hours in the semester will receive a grade of "F" for the course regardless of the actual grade achieved.  Exceptions to this policy may be granted only under very extraordinary circumstances by written petition to the College President or his designated representative.
