Family of Faith College is a private Christian non-profit college located north of Shawnee in central Oklahoma. The college was founded by the decree of the Holy Spirit for the purpose of educating, discipling, and training laborers for the kingdom of God. The college equips students, or laborers, spiritually, academically, and practically to accomplish the Great Commission through effective service in churches, Christian schools, businesses, and Bible colleges worldwide. God has given us a very unique and clear mandate to raise up laborers who are nurtured in an atmosphere of intercession and deep covenant relationships. We are not an institution, but a family joined together by our God and Father. The relationships with our graduates do not end at graduation, but continue through a network of churches so that each graduate becomes productive in the vision of "Orchestrating a Worldwide Penetration of the Gospel."

What Makes Us Unique?

Our faculty and administrators are men and women who truly believe that a Bible college such as ours is fundamental in reaching the nations with the Gospel. We are associated with International Christian Leadership Connections (ICLC), an organization that networks churches and training centers worldwide. Thus, we receive input that enables us to tailor our curricula to better meet the changing needs of churches around the world. We are committed to providing an affordable, quality education in a safe and wholesome environment. Our international students provide opportunities for our students to learn about other cultures. Our program design allows our students opportunities to visit foreign nations to make contributions to the planting and development of Christian schools and churches. Our students in the education programs fulfill their intern teaching at Family of Faith Christian School (K-5- 12th Grade) located on our campus. Our emphasis on intercession for the nations forms deep and intimate relationships with Jesus. The presence of local and translocal five-fold ministers provides impartation and oversight.

DESCRIPTION AND GOVERNANCE

Family of Faith College is a private, non-profit, residential, non-denominational, post-secondary, degree granting college founded in 1992 by Dr. Sam Matthews and Family of Faith Fellowship. The College is governed by a Board of Trustees with daily oversight given by the President, the Vice-President of Academic Affairs, the Vice-President of Student Affairs, the Director of Spiritual Life, the Vice-President of Finance and Operations and the Vice-President of Resource and Development.

ACCREDITATION

Famil y of Faith College holds accredited status by the Commission on Accreditation of the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE, formerly AABC, PO Box 780339, Orlando, FL 32878, 407-207-0808), which is recognized by the US Department of Education and the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE). The College is licensed by the Department of Homeland Security to admit international students.
